This is what I’ve been spending my spare time doing.
That’s one small section of a palm-sized piece of knitting. About halfway through this exercise in futility, I realized I could make more lace and… it could be lacier… if I use slightly larger needles. Because, let’s face it: it’s not lace unless it’s mostly holes. [...]
My newest friend, Ms. Fancy, is quite an accomplished knitter of love-hats. She’s also a fiber connoisseur, working only with handmade yarns.
Of course I had to give her some of my handspun… and she gave it right back!
