Belated, like this handmade candle that got to my mom’s house one day late*…I swapped one of my soaps for this at Festival Festival. It’s made with soy and palm wax by Mark Madison of Craggly Candles; he gets all his unique containers at local thrift shops! (* That’s not all. Apparently the message I left [...] Hopefully at this point nobody is paying attention to the promise I didn’t keep. So what have I been doing, besides not keeping my promise? Aside from the various tasks regarding the care of the children, I’ve been knitting: in the bathroom, in the line at the store, sitting at stop lights and in various parking [...] What a wonderful time I had today! Tomorrow I’ll talk more; for now let me just say thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by my tiny table… and thank you Read Brothers for hosting the event. It was a great day. |
